IFE welcomed the social secretaries of DC’s embassies to the Congressional Country Club for a luncheon to honor all the work they do as the diplomatic community’s gatekeepers. Luckily the weather was perfect as women from the Embassies of Finland, Afghanistan, France, Liechtenstein, Japan, Belgium, Mozambique, Portugal, Lithuania, Germany, Luxembourg, Mexico, Cyprus, Colombia, and Austria joined women from the U.S. State Department’s Office of the Chief of Protocol, UNESCO, Ann Hand of Washington DC, and Janet Donovan of Hollywood on the Potomac for free-flowing dialogue and relaxation on the club’s green slopes.
