The Institute for Education hosted an intimate lunch as the prestigious Alibi Club, the clubhouse to presidents, FBI directors, Justices and more. IFE extends a special thank you to Judge William Webster for welcoming us to the club and to our distinguished guest, The Financial Times’s Washington Bureau Chief Demetri Sevastopulo.
The affair included numerous ambassadors, opinion leaders, and entrepreneurs who joined in candid, off-the-record, discussion of current events and the inner workings of the current White House administration.
IFE Diplomatic Steward Ambassador Wouters of Belgium opened the event with generous praise of the Institute for Education’s work to bring together global leaders with vastly different perspectives.
Chairwoman of the IFE Board of Stewards Marci Robinson introduced both Coach Kemper, IFE Founder and CEO, and Sevastopulo. Kemper and Judge Webster then followed tradition as our event hosts, serving the Alibi’s signature soup and garnishing it with parsley for each guest.
The event concluded with warm chocolate chip cookies and our annual prediction poll! Every year, David Fenstermaker, takes a poll. This year it was, “Would 2018 U.S.GDP be above 3.2?
