Congratulations to John Paul Farmer, longtime IFE leadership, IFE Board of Stewards and Co-Founder IFE Emerging Markets Roundtable, on being appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer of the City of New York!

This is a huge honor and we are so proud of this distinguished next step in John Paul’s already storied career. Most recently, John Paul Farmer worked as the Director of Technology & Civic Innovation at Microsoft.

Previously, he served as Senior Advisor for Innovation in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy under President Obama, where he led the co-creation of the Presidential Innovation Fellows program. Here are some photos of John Paul at IFE events through the years.
