Sunday, January 10th: California IFE/PIF Reunion at the home of IFE Innovation Steward Amy Geng, MD and PIF Cofounder Todd Park. 

Saturday, January 23rd: IFE to host USC Viterbi school of engineering Robotics Demo to showcase IFE’s founding of CS@SC FREE summer coding camp.  4-6pm, Casa Sealy, Rancho Sante Fe, California

Friday, February 19th: Coach Kemper and John Paul Farmer, PIF Cofounder and IFE Leadership, will host a “Welcome to our Capital City” dinner for incoming 2016 Presidential Innovation Fellows. 

Friday, February 26th: LearnServe Internal Gala. As a co-founder of LearnServe International (LSI), IFE’s commitment to leadership also extends to the next generation. IFE and LSI offer programs that promote youth global citizenship and intercultural understanding so that our young people are prepared to be global gamechangers.

Monday, February 29th: IFE in partnership with The Center for Global Enterprise will host “Growing Global” Lunch to be held at The Metropolitan Club. 

Thursday, March 3rd:  IFE’s Fourth Annual Fellows dinner. Hosted by H.E. Jean Louis Wolzfeld of Luxembourg.

Thursday, April 14th: Coach Kemper and IFE Digital Ambassador Devika Anand Patil, will host a “Welcome to our Capital City” dinner for incoming 2016 Presidential Innovation Fellows.

Wednesday, April  20th: IFE Women in Power lunch with Megan Murphy Bloomberg News’ Washington bureau chief and executive editor for U.S. government. Hosted by Ambassador Maguy Maccario Doyle of Monaco at the residence. 

Tuesday, April 26th: IFE Innovation Dinner with D.J. Patil, US Chief Data Scientist. The Ambassador of Colombia, H.E. Juan Carlos Pinzon, will host the dinner at the residence.

Monday, May 16th: IFE INFO with The Honorable Ed Markey, United States Democratic Senator from Massachusetts. The Ambassador of France, H.E. Gérard Araud, will host the salon at the residence. 

Tuesday, May 24th: IFE 2016 International Diplomacy Award Dinner for IFE Diplomatic Steward and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium, H.E. Johan C. Verbeke.  

Monday, June 6th: IFE INFO Innovation Salon with Haley Van Dyck, Co-founder of U.S. Digital Service at the White House. H.E. Henne Schuwer, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands hosted the salon at the residence. 

Monday, July 11th: IFE INFO Innovation Salon on digital trends: “The Drones are Coming” Demonstration and panel discussion. Panel moderated by IFE Distinguished Fellow Hon. Dr. R. David Edelman, Special Assistant to the President for Economic & Technology Policy at the White House’s National Economic Council (NEC). Hosted by H.E. Armando Varricchio at the Italian Embassy.

Tuesday, July 12th: IFE Emerging Technology Roundtable (EMR) dinner with the Hon. Dr. R. David Edelman, Special Assistant to the President for Economic and Technology Policy at the National Economic Council. Hosted by the Ambassador of Sweden, H.E. Bjorn Lyrvall  at the residence. 

Sunday, July 31st: IFE 3rd Annual Innovation Cook Out, hosted by IFE Innovation Steward, Dr. Amy Geng, and Todd Park. 

Thursday, September 1st: IFE hosts Summer Social for International Social Secretaries. Luncheon was held on The Great Lawn at historic Congressional Country Club.

Friday, September 9th: IFE Women in Power lunch with Juliet Eilperin, White House Bureau Chief for The Washington Post. The lunch was hosted by H.E. Kirsti Kauppi at the Finnish residence.

Friday, September 30th: IFE/INFO Innovation Salon hosts an intimate, high-level discussion on “Digital Currency in Developing Economies” Panel with include John Paul Farmer, Director of Technology & Civic Innovation at Microsoft, former White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and co-founder of the Presidential Innovation Fellows program; Brian Forde, Director of Digital Currency at MIT Media Lab and former White House Senior Advisor for Mobile and Data Innovation; and Jamie Smith, Global Chief Communications Officer at The Bitfury Group and former Special Assistant and Spokesperson for President Obama and White House Deputy Press Secretary. His Excellency Dr. Hamdullah Mohib, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the United States hosted the evening Salon. 

Saturday, October 1 at 10PM ET: CNBC’s Make Me a Millionaire Inventor returns for its 2nd season, hosted by IFE Senior Fellow George Zaidan.  “Make Me A Millionaire Inventor” is back for season two and continues its mission to find the best inventions NEVER made and give them new life.  The series features engineering and science experts Deanne Bell and George Zaidan, who scour the country looking for amazing ideas they’re convinced can make big money. They’ll track down the inventors and give them a real chance to bring their ideas and dreams to life. Read more
